Problem:

After installation and running software the following message appears "Ordinal 6571 could not be located in the MFC42.DLL"

This means that during installation one of the applications was active in your computer and was using mfc42.dll. Result in the older version of this library is left in computer. The best solution is the closing all applications and reinstalling the software. Sometimes it is difficult to find such application. We recommend the following steps.

  1. In NT you need to log-in as administrator to have enough privilege to change mfc42.dll.
  2. Use Start button and than Find button to locate mfc42.dll file. Rename it to be mfc42.dl0.
  3. Reboot computer. The application, which was using mfc42.dll will invoke message saying that this library could not be found.
  4. Reinstall software. It should work now.
  5. Reboot you computer to see that other applications can use mfc42.dll.
